Zurich – The football transfer market remains a billion-dollar growth business. As can be seen from the transfer report from the world association Fifa last year, investments in transfers amounting to 8.87 billion euros were made in football in 2023. This is a record and 48.1 percent more than in 2022. Unsurprisingly, the financially strong English clubs invested the most, around 2.7 billion euros.
