This Sunday, June 4, 2023, the branch of the Forces vives de Guinée in Belgium organized a demonstration at Place du Luxembourg in Brussels.
“Justice for our martyrs” or “we did not fight the dictatorship of Alpha Condé to replace it with another” were among others the slogans of the demonstrators. Thiss Guineans living in Europe were mobilized in the European capital to “denounce the bloody repression of peaceful demonstrations in Guinea and demand the opening without delay of an investigation with a view to finding and condemning the perpetrators of the assassinations of peaceful demonstrators”.
They also demand the cessation of “fanciful” legal proceedings once morest socio-political leaders and the opening of an inclusive dialogue framework, as recommended by ECOWAS.
Finally, the Belgian branch of the living forces announces that it will be received the coming week by the Commission of the European Union and in parliament for discussions on the socio-political situation in Guinea.
