Transporters strike: ten people arrested by the police in Diourbel

Diourbel, Dec 2 (APS) – The Diourbel urban police station arrested ten people, including transporters, on Thursday for “destruction of public property and rebellion”, APS learned from a police source.

“They were arrested for destruction of public property, especially on three Senegal buses Dem Dikk and rebellion because they wanted to take part in the police station”, indicates this source.

She added that the strikers threw stones at the police station but were repulsed by the police.

“They continued to demonstrate even in the evening by leading a guerrilla war in the city”, underlined the same source which specifies that these people arrested will be presented to the public prosecutor.
