The Taliban government has imposed a travel ban on 100 female students from Afghanistan who got admission in Dubai universities. The government sent back the students who had arrived at the Kabul airport to leave for Dubai at the last minute.

Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor, a prominent Emirati businessman and philanthropist, informed that the Taliban had banned Afghan female students. Last December, Al Habtoor Group granted scholarships to 100 financially disadvantaged Afghan women students for higher studies in Dubai universities. The Taliban government banned these female students.

The negative news was received while eagerly waiting for the arrival of female students following securing scholarships in leading universities in Dubai. Ahmad Al Habtoor said.

He accused the action of Taliban as an act once morest humanity, education, justice and equality
