Jeddah: An autobiographical book, “Traveling the World in Search of Treasures in Waste” by well-traveled businessman and entrepreneur Faki NP was launched at the Sharjah International Book Fair.

The grand ceremony was notable for the presence of expatriate writers from Saudi Arabia, social workers and representatives of consulates in foreign countries.

Consul General of Indonesia in Dubai, Chandra Nagara, performed the opening ceremony at the Mela’s Writers’ Forum to American thinker and orator Leisa Yuten.

Consul General Chandra Nagara said that Faki, who is more famous than the writer who found treasure in waste, is the possessor of a great love of imagination.

Faki NP, the author, said that this book is an experience testimony of how he was able to find a way to bring life to many poor people in different parts of the world by taking inspiration from the tradition of the UAE, which has entered the world of wealth from nothing, by turning waste materials into colorful decorative items.
