Washington: The outgoing US President Trump wants to count the votes in Georgia state again. The application was submitted yesterday, said his campaign team. Trump’s lawyers say they want to ensure that every legal vote is counted. Several lawsuits against the election results in Georgia and other states had previously failed in court. Trump also suffered a legal defeat in the key state of Pennsylvania. A judge rejected the election fraud allegations as speculative. The US states have until December 14th to resolve any discrepancies. On this day, the electorate will vote on the new US president.
