Trump vowed to carry out the “largest deportation” of migrants in the country’s history

Former President Donald Trump is back in the spotlight following claiming that Venezuela removed “all its criminals” and sent them directly to the United States.

During an interview with Fox on Tuesday, April 30, the tycoon suggested that Joe Biden’s administration has facilitated the entry of these criminals into the country.

“Venezuela was plagued by crime. The government announced the other day a 72% reduction in crime in the last year. Do you know why? They took all their criminals out of Venezuela directly to the United States and Biden allowed them to do it. It’s a disgrace,” he said during the conversation regarding the border crisis.

Donald Trump on Wednesday vowed to carry out the “largest deportation” of migrants in the country’s history if he returns to the White House following the November 5 election, because “they are going to destroy the country.”

“Allowing millions and millions of people, many of them very bad people, to come across the southern border is not sustainable. They are going to destroy the country. We are going to do the largest deportation in history. We have no other choice,” he said at a campaign rally in Waukesha, in the key state of Wisconsin.

The former president once once more accused his rival, Democratic President Joe Biden, of having applied an open border policy over the past four years that has led to an “invasion” of migrants.

Trump made these statements a day following an interview with Time magazine was published in which he detailed that he plans to deploy the Army to pursue and detain undocumented migrants if he wins the election.

In the same interview, he did not rule out the possibility of building new migrant detention camps, although he did not point this out as a priority given that his plan is to deport them quickly.
