The power of the people today (4th) organizes a TF for truth-finding regarding the ‘defective construction of reinforcing bars’ in apartments ordered by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) and holds its first meeting.
The power of the people announced that they will hold the first meeting with the appointment ceremony for the ‘truth investigation of the insolvent construction of the apartment complex and the public safety TF’ at the National Assembly at 10 am today.
Rep. Kim Jeong-jae, secretary of the ruling party of the National Assembly, was appointed as the TF chairman, and 4 experts, including 4 members of the relevant standing committee and professors in related departments, participate as TF members.
At today’s meeting, a meeting between the members and a report on the current situation related to this incident from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will be held.
A TF official said in a phone call with KBS regarding future plans, “What is important now is the anxiety of residents and prospective tenants.” It will play a role at that level,” he explained.
