Ankara ∙ President Tayyip Erdogan is ahead in the first results of the Turkish election. Erdogan is leading with 53% of the votes following 36% of the votes have been counted. His main rival Kamal Kilichdarulu won 41% of the votes. If Erdoğan and Kilicdarulu do not get more than 50% of the votes following the counting of votes, a second round of voting will be held on the 28th.
