Innsbruck – The designated mayoral candidate of the new civil alliance “das Neue Innsbruck”, Florian Tursky, was elected Innsbruck ÖVP chairman on Friday evening with 91.9 percent of the vote at the city party conference. The State Secretary for Digitalization not only takes over the leadership of the electoral alliance, but also the leadership of the party at the city level. However, there was no opposing candidate following Vice Mayor Johannes Anzengruber dropped out.
