Two men in their twenties were injured following their vehicle overturned Friday morning in Repentigny. One of them is in critical condition.
The accident occurred around 4 a.m. while the driver of the vehicle was traveling on the fast lanes of Highway 40 westbound.
Arrived at the height of the viaduct of boulevard Brien, the vehicle which crossed the service road of the motorway axis made a rollover.
One of the two occupants was violently ejected from the vehicle.
He was transported to the Sacré-Coeur hospital in Montreal for serious injuries that would put his life in danger.
The other occupant was injured, but less seriously.
He was also transported to a hospital center, according to the spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, Audrey-Anne Bilodeau.
For the moment, the SQ cannot establish with precision which of the driver or the passenger was seriously injured.
