In two robberies on Saturday night in the city of Salzburg, the criminals, who are still unknown, acted brutally.
During the first coup, a whole group attacked two young men and injured them with blows. In the second robbery, a young woman was headbutted by a stranger and money and jewelry were taken away, police said.
In the Schwarzstrasse area, the group attacked the two Syrians aged 24 and 22. A high-priced smartphone was stolen from the older man. The attackers held the younger friend and beat him. On Rudolfskai, a man attacked a 21-year-old local. After the headbutt, he stole cash and a bracelet.
In both cases, the suspects escaped. The police took up the investigation.
