Dubai, 7 October / WAM / The delegation of the UAE cycling team, which was crowned with a historic bronze, received a reception full of flowers upon its return today, Saturday, following the end of its participation in the Asian Games in China.
Ahmed Al Mansouri won the bronze medal in the ammonium race in the track championship.
The delegation was received with flowers by Khalifa Bin Omair, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Cycling Federation and Chairman of the Technical Committee, and a number of Federation officials. Bin Omair confirmed that the achievement achieved is a source of pride and supports our national teams to achieve the best during the coming period.
He praised the performance of the national team player, Abdullah Jassim, in his eighth place in the 200 km race, amid strong participation in the tournament.
