Abu Dhabi: UAE to release 988 prisoners in the country on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered. The decision aims to give the prisoners an opportunity to live with social responsibility by correcting their mistakes, think regarding the future and strengthen their family ties.

Many prisoners are released in the UAE every year ahead of major Islamic festivals. The UAE’s tolerant values ​​are reflected in the ruler’s order.
