Abu Dhabi: UAE to rescue victims of civil conflict in Sudan In the field of airplanes. 262 people were brought to UAE in the last two days.
It includes citizens of 16 countries. Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) volunteers welcomed passengers into the country by presenting them with flowers.
The mission team prioritizes the sick, elderly, children and women. In the coming days, passengers will be provided with necessary assistance to go to their respective countries.
The UAE said the evacuation was part of the UAE’s efforts to strengthen global cooperation and solidarity. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said in a statement.
