UAGro rejections march in Ruiz Cortines, Acapulco, demanding a place in the Faculty of Medicine

Acapulco Guerrero.- Rejected applicants to the Autonomous University of Guerrero (UAGro), marched on Ruiz Cortines Avenue towards the General Coordination of the southern zone in Acapulco, where they protested to demand admission to the medical school.

The march made up of at least 25 students from the newly formed Front for Education, Democracy and Institutionality of Guerrero (FREG), left at 10:30 a.m. this Monday from High School 02 to the Coordination of the South Zone of the UAGro located on Río Balsas street in the Vista Alegre neighborhood.

In front of the headquarters of the coordination, the young people launched slogans once morest Senator Félix Salgado Macedonio, whom they assured promised them that the spaces to enter the various faculties would no longer be sold.

“I didn’t pay, so I didn’t stay,” was the main slogan they shouted in front of the South Zone, where they also threatened to set up a sit-in.

After a few minutes, a commission entered to start a dialogue table with university authorities.
