The net assets under management of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) stood at more than 554.3 billion dirhams as of August 18, up 10.66% year-on-year, according to the Moroccan Authority capital market (AMMC).
In detail, equity UCITS and diversified UCITS posted the best annual variations with +11.5% and +2.21% respectively, while medium and long-term bond UCITS (MLT) recorded the largest decline ( -1.23%), according to the weekly statistics of the AMMC, closed on August 18, 2023. In monthly variation, MLT bond UCITS experienced the best evolution, i.e. +0.32%, unlike equity UCITS which showed the biggest drop with -0.72%. The number of active UCITS reached 573 funds.
