Kiev: A councilor threw a grenade at his colleagues during a village council meeting in Ukraine. 26 people were injured in the blast. Six of them are in critical condition. The incident took place on Friday morning at the Keretsky village council headquarters in western Ukraine.
Footage of the councilor arriving at the council meeting dressed in black and throwing three grenades in his hand has emerged. The footage shows him taking grenades out of his pocket, pulling the pin and dropping it on the ground.
After the blast, there was a collective scream from the meeting. The person who threw the grenade was also seriously injured. He is unconscious. Since the start of the war with Russia, weapons have been readily available to civilians in Ukraine.
