Ukraine News: Kremlin shifts blame for defeats to Putin’s advisors

The Kremlin is apparently working flat out to take Vladimir Putin out of the line of fire in view of the currently successful Ukrainian counter-offensive. According to the findings of the Institute for the Study of War in Washington, which cites sources from the Kremlin, the Blame for the loss of control over nearly all of Kharkiv Oblast is being laid on Putin’s military adviserswho were insufficiently informed. A member of the Kremlin’s Council on Inter-Ethnic Relations stated that military officials, who failed to see the concentration of Ukrainian troops and equipment and ignored Telegram channels warning of the upcoming Ukrainian counter-offensive in Kharkiv Oblast, whose head should be “on Putin’s desk”. The military defeat in the Kharkiv region is the first officially acknowledged by Russia in this war.
