New York – The UN Security Council has adopted a resolution calling for “extended humanitarian pauses” in the Gaza Strip. After a long struggle, the most powerful body in the United Nations agreed on the joint resolution on Wednesday in New York. The USA waived a veto and abstained, as did Russia and Great Britain. Twelve of the 15 member states voted in favor of the text. Security Council resolutions are binding under international law. In this way you can develop international influence.
