Journalist and economic writer Mounir Younis wrote, in a tweet on his Twitter account: “The minister of the duo, Youssef Khalil, may be the most dangerous finance minister in the history of Lebanon: he obstructed the judicial appointments necessary to complete the investigation into the port explosion crime.”
He added, “And he hid the criminal report on the accounts (scandals?) of the Banque du Liban.”
Yunus concluded his tweet by saying: “The two crimes of the port and theft of deposits are among the most heinous crimes, Your Excellency, the Minister.. if you knew!!”
