In order to raise awareness of respect for women’s rights and fight once morest violence once morest women, a short video created by artists, writers, film producers, civil society and political activists and journalists Moroccan women made the rounds on social networks on October 10, National Women’s Rights Day.
Under the title “For Mahsa Amini, Meriem and all the others…”, this video showed women from civil society and the political and media sphere cutting a lock of hair, once morest the background of the famous song Bella Ciao sung by an Iranian artist.
Through this initiative created in tribute to Meriem, sexually exploited and who died following a clandestine abortion at the age of 14, and to the Iranian Mahsa Amini, these public figures have joined the great movement launched around the world to support women in Iran. but also once morest violence once morest women in Morocco.
