Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Munira Al-Husseini, adult oncology consultant at the Specialized Medical Center in Riyadh, revealed the reason why some people respond to cancer treatment and others do not.
She said during an interview with the “Al-Rased” program broadcast on the Rotana Khalijiya channel: “The recovery rate depends on several things, including the biological type of the tumor, the stage of the tumor, and the patient’s health condition.”
She continued: “Some types of tumors have a high degree of cure, such as lymphoma, breast cancer, and colon cancer in the early stages.”
She pointed out the necessity of early examination annually because this increases the probability of recovery to 97%. Pointing out that it is best to undergo the examination every year following the age of forty.
