Unidentified Overseas Mail Prompt Fact-Check: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Calls for Cooperation from China

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that it has requested prompt fact-checking from China regarding unidentified overseas mail delivered nationwide.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a text message distributed to reporters, “We have requested cooperation, such as fact-finding and providing related explanations, from each side related to the overseas delivery mail that has recently caused public concern.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also mentioned Taiwan’s announcement that it was found that the mail was first sent from China and finally reached Korea via Taiwan.

“Through our diplomatic mission in China, we contacted the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relevant authorities, and local governments to request prompt fact-finding and explanations,” he said.
