The Union is still looking for a striker to compensate for the departure of Victor Boniface. A few leads have been launched in the meantime. In Italy, the Unionists seem to have found a potential new signing.

Italian media All B indeed reveals that the Union would be interested in David Strelec (22 years old). He is an international striker playing at La Spezia.

The team was relegated to Serie B last season and the striker might decide to leave. Strelec was loaned to Reggina last January and scored three goals there in 16 appearances.

Previously, his name had previously been cited in Anderlecht, Club Brugge, but also in Genk and Antwerp. The 22-year-old and 1m86 striker still has a contract until 2025 with La Spezia, but he would be allowed to leave for a fee of around one million euros.

Strelec is also cited in Switzerland, near Lucerne.
