Unison confirms the death of Vivian Rivera Rolon, a medical student

Hermosillo, Sonora.- The University of Sonora (Unison) confirmed the death of Vivian Rivera Rolon, a student of the Bachelor of Medicine, who allegedly points out through social networks, took her own life.

With a note that circulates through different media with the date September 18, 2022 as the day of departure, family and friends gave their last goodbye to the 24-year-old girl.

After the news regarding Vivian Rivera Rolon began to circulate, the Puente Project team consulted the information with the competent authorities, on behalf of Unison, Luis Mendoza, director of social communication, confirmed that Vivian was indeed a student.

“The only thing I can confirm is that yes, she was a student of ours, with a good average, who was in boarding school and who was outstanding, with the record that she had not failed any subject,” she said.

On the part of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) of Sonora, they indicated that it is not a legal case, because if there is no crime, it is not their competence.
