United States: the Senate confirms Ketanji Brown Jackson, first black woman judge on the Supreme Court

The US Senate proceeded Thursday, April 7 to the historic confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. All elected officials from the Democratic Party and three moderate Republican senators voted to bring this 51-year-old lawyer to the Supreme Court, where she will be the first black woman to sit on the highest judicial institution in the country.
