At the time of writing these lines, the facts which took place during the night from Saturday to Sunday rue des Écoles in Marcinelle remain rather nebulous, confirms the Charleroi public prosecutor’s office. On the spot, several people contacted the emergency services following hearing several explosions.
But once at the scene, the Charleroi police did not find the slightest casing and even less a possibly injured person. According to the prosecution, the facts which will have to be clarified by the investigation which has been opened would have taken place in the context of a robbery with violence.
