“That’s why we pulled the plug. The team combination has been suspended for this World Cup season,” he added, but said: “This can definitely be a good format for major events.”
The new team competition was held for the first time at the 2023 Junior World Championships in St. Anton. A team consisted of one super-G and one slalom rider. The team with the fastest overall time won. Germany won the silver medal for both women and men.
