Unsolved Mystery: Help Solve the Case of the Baby Found in a Fir Forest

2023-10-15 13:29:23

In 2008, the lifeless body of a little girl a few hours old was discovered in a fir forest in Sibret (Vaux-sur-Sûre). They were Baladins from the Saint-Exupéry unit who made the macabre discovery during a game organized in the woods. The prosecution, a forensic doctor and an investigating judge had descended on the scene which had been cordoned off. No clues had been discovered. The baby was wrapped in a bed sheet.

Fifteen years later, the affair takes a new turn. This Saturday, the federal police launched a call for witnesses to embroidery professionals, accompanying it with a photo of the sheet discovered at the time of the incident, reports The future.

“This sheet is old and has been mended. It measures 244cm/140cm and is suitable for a single bed. It is made of light-colored cotton. The initials “KW” were embroidered near the hem of the sheet,” details the press release.

Anyone who can provide information is asked to contact police on 0800/30 300.
