This Monday morning, on the E40 at the IKEA store, these two pedestrians were seen walking, suitcases in hand, on the emergency lane of the highway.
This photo received by our editorial staff actually shows two reckless walkers heading towards Steerebeek, close to Zaventem airport. A “small clash” was also spotted a few tens of meters before this shot was taken. Were they in too much of a rush to get to the airport? The story does not tell.
