Our clothes – really green and clean?

Just like every other industry, the fashion industry has also turned green. It is said everywhere that clothing is manufactured according to environmental standards and is returned to a comprehensive circulation system following initial use. The customer might therefore buy new fashion with a clear conscience. In this new Theme Monday production, designer Paul Peraus has taken a look at what is behind such promises. On closer inspection, recycling and refurbishing, in which worn goods are refreshed, are no guarantee of environmentally friendly consumption. Especially with the new EU directive once morest greenwashing, some green corporate self-images will probably not be able to be maintained. From then on, companies will have to prove the truth of every slogan regarding climate friendliness.
