Ibrahim Imbabi, Head of the Tobacco Division of the Federation of Industries, announced an increase in the prices of foreign cigarettes of LM and Marlboro types between one and 3 pounds for a pack of 20 cigarettes.
According to Embabe’s statements, Philip Morris Egypt will raise the prices of its cigarette products, starting tomorrow, Wednesday.
Consumer prices will be as follows:
Merit of all kinds at a price of 52 pounds, an increase of 3 pounds.
Marlboro red at 48 pounds, with an increase of 2 pounds.
Marlboro Gold at 48 pounds, with an increase of 2 pounds.
Marlboro purple mix at 48 pounds, up by 2 pounds.
L&M red at 35 pounds, increments of one pound.
L&M blue, priced at 35 pounds, increments of one pound.
L&M Silver at 35 pounds, with an increase of one pound.
L&M Forward at 35 pounds, with an increase of one pound.
The price of L&M Motion cigarettes of all kinds was also fixed at EGP 28 per pack.
