“Doctors Without Borders” denounced “the attacks on medical personnel in the Ain al-Hilweh camp in Sidon – southern Lebanon.”
The organization noted, in a statement, that “medical personnel are not targets in conflicts, as their work is essential and vital to saving the lives of people, regardless of their race, religion, or affiliation.”
She called on “all conflicting parties in the camp to respect health centers and medical teams and provide a safe environment for them to continue their life-saving work and provide emergency medical care to those who desperately need it.”
