Kasaragod: The meeting of the Independent Scrap Merchants Association (ISMA) has demanded that the government intervene urgently to protect the distressed small business sector. The state secretariat meeting also decided to shut down all the businesses in the scrap sector and participate in the protest meeting in Thiruvananthapuram for the strike on the 13th.

State President Faisal presided over Kannamparam. Ibrahim Chemmanad, Shahi Kollam, Paulson Pulluvahiya, Attakoy Thangal, Aziz Parappuram, Rasheed Kayamkulam, Abdul Jabbar Ernakulam and Sajeer Pattambi spoke.
