U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink commented on speculation regarding whether Kyiv would be able to strike targets in Russia with the supplied U.S.-supplied HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
“The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will independently decide on the range of strikes delivered with the help of HIMARS,” Brink said.
At the same time, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken earlier reported that Kyiv promised not to use these systems for strikes on Russian territory.
