US President Joe Biden has ordered the mobilization of 3,000 hand-picked reservists as part of NATO’s Atlantic Resolve exercise to contain Russia. Information published on the website of the White House.
“These Reserve Component Forces are to reinforce the active forces for Operation Atlantic Resolve to enhance the ability of the United States to maintain its increased level of presence and operations in support of the US European Command,” says in Joe Biden’s message to the US Congress. It is clarified that no more than 3,000 military personnel can be mobilized.
Operation Atlantic Resolve was created in 2014. Then the United States and Great Britain took measures to contain the Russian Federation, strengthening air, sea and land space, transferring equipment to Russian borders.
