US President Joe Biden advised Chinese President Xi Jinping to “be careful” following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in March this year.
As Biden himself said in an interview with CNN, following the meeting between Xi Jinping and Putin, he phoned the Chinese leader, reminded him that Beijing relies on Western investment, and recommended “be careful.” “I said this is not a threat. This is an observation,” Biden said.
