US warns of shortage of medicine to treat ADHD | Video

“If a medicine they’re using for symptoms is really essential and it’s not available, maybe we’ll make a short-term change that changes some of the requirements,” says Benjamin Fields, a pediatric psychologist. Fields says this following the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA for its acronym in English) announced that there might be a shortage of “adderall”, a medicine prescribed to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
