Due to a patent dispute, Apple is no longer allowed to sell certain electronic wristwatches – specifically the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 models – in the USA. Because the US government decided not to veto a corresponding decision by the International Trade Commission (ITC), the ban on the import and sale of the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 came into force on Tuesday. This was announced by the office of US Trade Representative Katherine Tai. The decision has no impact on sales in other countries.
