Washington/Baghdad – After the violent deaths of three US soldiers in Jordan near the Syrian border, the US says it has carried out retaliatory attacks on targets in Syria and Iraq. The airstrikes targeted more than 85 targets linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and the militias it supports, the US military said on Friday. Syrian state media reported US attacks on areas in Syria, including near the border with Iraq.
