Use of GMOs in Senegal: civil society denounces a headlong rush

In Senegal, the government has decided to bet on GMOs in response to the consequences of climate change on agricultural yields. In June, the National Assembly passed a law authorizing the use of GMO seeds in Senegal for the first time in the country’s history. A vote that fuels controversy.
