Bern – Carinthian Nicolai Uznik took fifth place in bouldering at the Climbing World Championships in Bern. The 22-year-old from Carinthia had just qualified for the decision on Friday, coming sixth in the semi-finals, and was able to improve in the final. The current European champion only managed two zones on the first three boulders, rather he was the only one to reach the top on the final fourth. Jakob Schubert failed in the semifinals and finished twelfth.
