Thiruvananthapuram ∙ Congress leader VT Balram taunted Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan following Youth Congress State Vice President KS Sabarinathan got bail. Balram’s sarcasm is through Facebook. Balram attacked the Chief Minister by referring to SFI State Secretary PM Arshaw who has been in jail for a month.
“Irrespective of Pinarayi Vijayan’s and the police’s interpretation of what constitutes ‘attempt to murder’, the Indian judicial system has a definite view of it. That is why Sabarinathan was granted bail within hours and Pinarayi Vijayan’s Aruma disciple Vanarasena state secretary is lying inside without getting bail for a month” – Balram noted.
On November 17, 2018, the SFI state secretary was jailed in a case of assaulting Nizam Nasser, a native of Eratupetta and a lawyer, at night. Arshaw’s bail plea was rejected by the High Court the other day.
