Arriving first in Fort-de-France in Martinique, the duo of skippers Thomas Ruyant and Morgan Lagravière, winner in Imoca on “For People” of the Transat Jacques-Vabre, will pocket 70,000 euros. This is the largest bonus paid of the 4 categories at the start of the 2023 edition of “the coffee route”. The winning duo in Ultim, the maxi-multihulls, Armel Le Cléac’h and Sébastien Josse on Banque Populaire XI, only shared 40,000 euros. But there were only 5 boats at the start in this class, compared to 40 in Imoca.
