Venezuela’s Oldest Man Passes Away at 114 – A Remarkable Life Story

Venezuela: The world’s oldest man died two months before his 115th birthday. Juan Vincente Perez Mora, a native of Venezuela, died at the age of 114. On February 4, 2022, Mora, aged 112 years and 253 days, was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest living man.

Mora was born on May 27, 1909. Mora’s wife died in 1997 following 60 years of marriage. Mora has 11 children and these children have 41 children and their children have 18 children and their children have 12 children.

Mora attributed his longevity to hard work, rest on holidays, early sleep and devotion to God. Mora, who was infected with Kovid in 2020, also survived this easily.

At the age of five, Mora started farming with his father and brothers. Sugarcane and coffee were the main crops of Mora.

After getting a job as the head of the village police force, Mora started solving the problems of the villagers along with agriculture. Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro expressed grief over Mora’s death.

Currently the oldest man in the world is 111-year-old John Tinniswood from the UK. The oldest woman in the world is 117-year-old Branias Moreira from Spain.
