Verdict of the Depp-Heard trial: “there is no winner (…) The two are flayed”

Even if Johnny Depp won his lawsuit for defamation once morest Amber Heard and that this one will have to pay him 15 million dollars, the two actors emerge losers of this long legal process, estimates the criminal lawyer Me Conrad Lord.

“There are no winners in cases like this. Both are skinned, ”said Mr. Lord in an interview with LCN.

The latter is of the opinion that the careers of the two ex-spouses have been marred by this affair, widely publicized by the media.

“It’s a vaudevillian trial, because it’s live in the United States,” proclaims the lawyer.

As for the verdict, it gives more reason to Johnny Depp, who managed to convince the jury that he was not violent, believes Conrad Lord. For the criminalist, the testimony of Kate Moss was crucial in the victory of the actor.

“He was someone who had no advantage in coming to testify,” says Conrad Lord.

The lawyer is of the opinion that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard would have benefited from settling this case using mediation and especially without all the media hype that surrounded the trial.

Me Lord nevertheless believes that there is a lesson to be learned from this trial.

“Writing something that will identify another person and say things on the spur of the moment, it can tumble down people’s reputations pretty quickly,” he explains.
