Toblach – Mika Vermeulen and Teresa Stadlober were in strong form in the cross-country ski pursuit of the Tour de Ski in Toblach on New Year’s Day. Vermeulen appeared to have already recovered well from a severe cold around Christmas and ran from outside the top 30 to 15th place with the ninth fastest time. After the 22 kilometers of skating in the freshly snow-covered Pustertal, Stadlober improved by three places to 13th place.
