Austin (Texas) – Max Verstappen has returned to winning ways in Formula 1. The Dutchman from Red Bull Racing confidently won the sprint in Austin from pole position on Saturday and scored eight points for the overall standings. Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz came second, world championship challenger Lando Norris in the McLaren third. Verstappen had not previously won since the Austria Sprint in Spielberg on June 29th.
