VIDEO: A model of the US embassy is burned amid marches on the anniversary of the death of Iranian General Soleimani

Thousands of people marched in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad to mark the second anniversary of the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.

As part of these demonstrations, several people burned a model of the US embassy following filling it with graffiti. During these actions, they also set fire to several American and Israeli flags.

Soleimani was killed during a US Armed Forces airstrike launched near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
